New month, new challenge. I hope you all managed to reach your January goals. If you didn’t, let’s go again and see if you can reach them this month. I know it can be hard. Sometimes it’s just too cold, dark and miserable to run and I confess at times I can’t be bothered myself. But in order to achieve our goals there will often be a level of discomfort, so it’s a good idea to have a strategy or two to give you the motivation. Mine is simply to put on my race gear. Once I’m in my race gear I’m in the zone. Some friends are motivated by saying a mantra as part of their preparation others swear by a new podcast or audio book. Whatever your motivation remember that these challenges are personal and are designed to elevate you to the next level regardless of your starting ability. Enjoy your running.
